Borrowing from the great classical composer Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 the gate way to Romanticism. Symphony no 1 also points towards the undeniable brilliance of Beethoven and is rightly considered one of the most pivotal symphonies ever composed.
Beethoven’s King Stephen Overture is a powerful orchestral work that reflects Beethoven’s mastery of orchestration and dramatic expression.
The Gippsland Chamber Singers will enhance the performance with rich vocal harmonies, adding depth and emotion.
The Gippsland Chamber Singers are a small ensemble of vocalists from the West Gippsland area. Founded in 2020, the group performs high quality music ranging from the medieval period to the present day, and from across the globe, the Gippsland Chamber Singers will feature works by the great English composer Henry Purcell’s monumental Baroque classic Dido and Aeneas plus works by Beethoven and Faure.
The Gippsland Chamber Singers are a small ensemble of vocalists from the West Gippsland area. Founded in 2020, the group aspires to perform high quality music and provide a challenging and exciting musical ensemble for singers in the Gippsland community. With music ranging from the medieval period to the present day, and from across the globe, the Gippsland Chamber Singers seek to continually showcase diverse and beautiful music that stirs the soul. The group is democratic and driven by friendship and mutual respect, with a core foundation of strong sightreading and a love of choral works.
