As a duo, Kate Smiley and Pete Doherty perform a more stripped-back repertoire of original songs, folk standards and roots-inspired material shaped by decades of shared music-making. Blending close harmonies, acoustic guitars, storytelling and an easy musical chemistry, their duo performances move fluidly between intimate ballads, humour, old-country influences and quietly powerful songwriting.
